To commemorate the 132nd anniversary of Marshal Liu Bocheng's birth, on the evening of December 4th, our district held a grand mass concert called "Breaking Iron Clothes on a Hundred Battlegrounds" at the Kaizhou Theater. General Liu Meng, the second son of Marshal Liu Bocheng, Xiao Yedan, a relative of the Yi leader, Wu Jia, the daughter of Wu Jingjing, the former secretary of the Party Committee of the Xizang Autonomous Region and the former political commissar of the Xizang Military Region, attended the event. District Party Secretary Pu Binbin attended and delivered a speech. Yang Hong, Deputy Secretary and District Chief of the District Committee, Wang Jing, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, Xia Zhengfeng, Chairman of the District Political Consultative Conference, Chen Huadong, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee, and all other leaders in their respective districts attended the event.

On behalf of the District Committee, the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, the District Government, the District Political Consultative Conference, and 1.7 million sons and daughters of Shuai Township, Pu Binbin expresses high respect to Marshal Liu Bocheng, sincere greetings to Marshal Liu Bocheng's relatives, sincere gratitude for the strong support of Liangshan Prefecture, and warm welcome to all guests. He said that Comrade Liu Bocheng was a great proletarian revolutionist, militarist, Marxist military theorist, military educator, one of the founders of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and Marshal of the People's Republic of China. His life was a glorious life, a life of struggle, and a great life. The people of our hometown will always remember Liu Shuai's great achievements, admire his integrity and spirit, and learn from his noble character.

Pu Binbin pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the need to "make good use of red resources, carry forward red traditions, and inherit red genes" and "promote the whole society to admire heroes, commemorate martyrs, and strive to be pioneers". In April of this year, during the inspection of Chongqing, he emphasized the need to "strengthen the protection and inheritance of historical and cultural heritage, and focus on cultivating cultural talents". We must deeply study and implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, and use our hearts, emotions, and strength to protect and utilize the red resources such as the Comrade Liu Bocheng Memorial Hall and Liu Bocheng's former residence. We must promote the red beautiful villages in Zhoudu and the whole country to shine, vividly tell the stories of the Party, revolution, heroes, and the new era, educate and guide the people, especially the vast number of young people, to establish red ideals, and let red culture continue to thrive and red blood be passed down from generation to generation.

Pu Binbin emphasized that the best commemoration of revolutionary predecessors is to continuously push forward the cause they founded. Since the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the whole region has kept in mind the instructions, seized opportunities, made progress, and overcome difficulties. The land of Shuai Township is changing rapidly, and people's lives are rising steadily. "Jinkaizhou" is undergoing a magnificent transformation towards "Xinkaizhou". Forge ahead on a new journey and contribute to a new era.   We must learn and implement the responsibilities of Shuai Township as a whole, promote greater breakthroughs in the construction of a modern new Kaizhou with "one pole, two major regions, and three zones", strive to write a new and greater glory belonging to "Liu Shuai's hometown, prosperous Kaizhou", make greater contributions to the construction of a strong country and the great cause of national rejuvenation, and pay tribute to revolutionary predecessors and comfort revolutionary martyrs with practical actions and achievements.

This concert is hosted by General Liu Meng as the general advisor, with Marshal Liu Bocheng's glorious deeds as the main theme. There are a total of 18 programs in 5 chapters, including the Red Army period, the Anti Japanese War period, the Liberation War period, the military education period, and the finale. More than 150 artists and performers from Liangshan Symphony Orchestra, Liangshan Prefecture Song and Dance Troupe Chorus, Xichang College Chorus, Daliangshan Chorus and other places passionately performed classic revolutionary songs such as "Ten Farewell to the Red Army", "Deep Friendship", "On the Taihang Mountains", "March of the Eighth Route Army", "Goodbye to the Dabie Mountains" through various artistic forms such as solo singing, choir singing, and poetry recitation. The concluding chapter, composed by General Liu Meng, features a grand recitation of the poem "The Treasure Tripod Shines - Taihang Soul" and lyrics for the song "The Light Veil of the Red River Valley", which inspires people to forge ahead and reproduces the history of Marshal Liu Bocheng and his comrades who braved hardships, braved wind and rain, and created brilliance. At the concert, these familiar melodies, combined with on-site historical interpretation and screen photos, concentrated on the magnificent military career of Marshal Liu Bocheng and the immortal contributions of his comrades in arms to the cause of the Chinese people's liberation and the socialist military cause, which brought a wonderful audio-visual feast to the audience, and the scene was filled with warm applause from time to time.

Leaders from relevant departments and units in Liangshan Prefecture, Mianning County, Wanzhou District, Dazhou City, and Yunyang County of Sichuan Province participated in the theoretical seminar on grassroots integrity construction and the third joint conference on the coordinated development of Sichuan Chongqing Wanda Development and the development of integrity construction in Wankaiyun City.
